Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct, design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle which may include identification of market potential, establishment of pricing and marketing strategies, estimates of potential sales, introduction to market, distribution/channel issues, design of promotional activities and management of product through phase-out.
• Develop business plans, marketing strategy and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products.
• Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally.
• Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs.
• Create and produce direct response programs; manage list processing requests, conduct detailed program audits, develop program flow charts and accountability for communications to customers and associates.
• Work with sales to drive implementation of product launch and ongoing programs.
• Work as the lead manager and in close coordination with Development team which includes IT, sales, operations and the customer contact center.
• Product development responsibilities include formalizing product concepts into a specification document, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and oversight of product testing.
• Develop performance analysis reporting and maintain results database. Also, present results to senior management on a regular basis.
• Web experience a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience with product development, preferably in financial the services industry to include debit/credit card marketing industry
• 5 years of direct product marketing experience
• Project management skills a must.
• Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, technical and interpersonal
• Superior analytical skills, including report writer and performance analysis/interpretation.
• Working knowledge of personal computers in a Windows environment
